Moving On with Pro-Stitcher! - Ready to kick up your Pro-Sticher skills a notch or two? This project-based class will cover custom quilting tools while we quilt a pretty pre-printed table runner. The class will be full of cool tips and tricks for using Pro-Stitcher. We’ll learn to use lots of fun techniques and tools that you may not be familiar with. The project will be available to take home on the end of the day, and we will leave you with a little “homework” – a block to finish on your own using all the skills and techniques you learned in class. We will explore some of the more advanced Pro-Stitcher techniques and use Pro-Stitcher tools that you may not be familiar with.

Rainbow Swirl Runner This project can be a table runner or bed runner. Or, you can learn the technique by making just one or two blocks. What you will learn: A fast, easy, and (most important) accurate way to piece 2 types of Flying Geese blocks using my specialty ruler. I will supply rulers for students to use in class. (You can take one home for $25 if you wish.) Pattern supplied in class, included in class fee.

You are going to love making this one – It’s a real scrap buster! You start with all squares, all cut to the same size: either 4”, 5” or 6”, depending on the size quilt you want to make. No special ruler needed, because there is no squaring up! There is no marking. Also, no bias outer edges of the blocks. Don’t want to cut squares from your scraps? Dig out those 5” charm packs. Just make sure you can sort them into lights and darks. Pattern included in class fee.
