A Japanese rice bag, traditionally known as a Komebukuro, is a uniquely constructed pouch originally used to carry offerings of rice to shrines and temples. Featuring a square bottom and four boxy sides, they are closed with a cinching drawstring. Today, they are highly popular as eco-friendly storage and craft bags!
