Join instructor Trisha Jane for our Fairytale Dress Lamp Workshop! Learn the techniques to create a beautiful, illuminated dress sculpture that adds instant charm to any space.
Whether you're making a statement piece for your home or a unique gift, Trisha Jane will walk you through each step of the construction and the finishing details.
Dress finishes at approximately 10 inches tall.
SUPPLIES
- Gina Fairytale Dress Lamp pattern
- 1/2 yard light weight 100% cotton only (not suitable for synthetic blend)
- 20 inch 3 strand embroidery thread (for sleeve & neckline gather)
- fabric stiffener any brand
- LED lights 20 count or more battery operated (do not use plug in lights it will burn the dress)
- glass vase 7 inch tall x 14 inch round (to put LED lights in)
- old bucket 6 inch tall x 17 inch round
- empty water bottle cut 4 inches tall to form the dress
- large bowl to saturate the dress in STIFFENER SOLUTION
- plastic gloves
BASIC TOOLS
- sewing machine, scissors, matching thread
- pins or clips, fabric pen to trace pattern
