Jump into the world of machine embroidery with Roberta in this fun, hands-on workshop designed for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike! In this one-day class, you’ll complete five creative projects—each taking under an hour—including a tissue holder, key fob, mug rug, and your choice of name tag or luggage tag.

You’ll explore a wide range of techniques such as hooping, appliqué, color changes, resizing, rotating, and card making—all while gaining confidence with your embroidery machine. Whether you're brushing up on basics or trying something new, this sampler class is the perfect skill-building experience.

Class includes all supplies needed for the projects. Just bring your machine, a few essentials, and your lunch!

What You’ll Learn:

• Embroidery hooping basics

• Appliqué techniques

• Navigating your machine’s tools: resizing, rotating, color changes

• Tips for prepping fabric and working with stabilizers

• Finishing touches to make your projects shine

Student Supply List:

• Embroidery machine with embroidery arm, foot, manual & power cord

• 5” x 7” hoop (or larger)

• Variety of thread colors

• 2 black and 2 white bobbins

• Appliqué scissors, thread snips, tweezers

• Needles: 75/11 or 80/12

• Your lunch, snacks, and drinks

Set-up begins at 10:00 AM | Sewing starts at 10:30 AM
We’ll set up in a square format with plenty of space for up to 10 embroidery machines. Please starch and press your fabric ahead of time, or feel free to use Cozy's ironing stations during class.
