Ready to dive into the world of paper piecing? This class is perfect for anyone looking to learn or refine the basics of Carol Doak’s method. You’ll discover tips and tricks for achieving crisp, precise points and beautifully accurate blocks every time. With step-by-step guidance and hands-on practice, we’ll help you build confidence and set you up for paper piecing success—whether you're brand new or just looking to sharpen your skills.
Fabric:
Bring a selection of medium to dark non-directional scraps or fat quarters, along with ¼ yard of background fabric. We'll be making an 8” block composed of four 4” paper-pieced patches.
Supplies:
Please bring the following to class:

Sewing machine with size 90/14 needle

Neutral thread, full bobbin

Open toe foot recommended

Rotary cutter and mat

Rotary rulers:

6 ½” square

6” x 12” (Omnigrid recommended)

6” Add-A-Quarter Ruler
