English Paper Piecing Group Meetings in 2026
Welcome to English Paper Piecing! We are a group of individuals that enjoy hand sewing with a group. We coordinate small group projects and help each other. Come learn how to do this fun way of sewing with others. No project is too small or large. We are here to support one another and assist
1st Tuesday of the Month from February to October
February 3rd - 1st meeting of the year. Gather your fabric selections and decide which Project you are doing for this year. Each are Small Wall hangings. Both may be purchased from paperpieces.com. Each kit comes with enough papers and has optional acrylic sets for fussycutting fabrics. There is no wrong fabric selection, please choose what makes you happy.
March 3rd - Beginning assembly of Either Tumbling Colors or Winding Ways Wall hanging. I will bring in Tumbling Colors, finished with my choices and my color/fabric selections for the Winding Ways.
April 7th - Machine English Paper Piecing. Yep!! Bring your Sewing Machine to learn how to English Paper Piece using the Sewing Machine. Note: you will need your paper pieces prepped with fabric, Monopoly thread for the top and 50 wt cotton thread for your bobbin. This is a fun way to speed through those English Paper Piecing Projects.
May 5th - Demonstration of the Flat Back Sewing Method for those who want invisible stitches with English Paper Piecing.
June 2nd - Glue basting verses Thread Basting. The pros and cons of both.
July 7th - Free for all. Voting on 2027 possible projects.
